How the Journal Works

Dronavel Journal operates under a defined set of editorial principles designed to keep the publication accurate, independent, and honest about the limits of what editorial food writing can and cannot offer. This page documents those principles in full.

02 The Editorial Principles

Dronavel Journal operates under the following editorial principles: articles are reviewed by at least one second editor before publication, sources are cited where appropriate, corrections are noted publicly, and writers disclose any commercial relationships that could influence their selection of subject matter.

Articles published on Dronavel Journal are editorial in nature and reflect the writers' observations on everyday nutrition practices and weight awareness. The content is not intended as professional advice, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition. Readers with specific concerns about their daily routines are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional.

Dronavel Journal is an independent editorial publication focused on everyday nutrition practices and weight awareness. The publication is not affiliated with any commercial, governmental, or institutional body.

"Content published by Dronavel Journal is selected based on published nutritional research and reviewed for editorial accuracy by a second editor before publication."
03 The Review Process
01
Topic Selection

Topics emerge from patterns observed in the field journal: seasonal shifts, recurring questions about portion balance, or new nutritional research that intersects with everyday eating habits.

02
Research and Drafting

The writer draws on field notes, published dietary research, and independent sources. Sources are cited where peer-reviewed literature is available. Claims are kept within what the evidence supports.

03
Second-Editor Review

Every article is reviewed by a second editor before publication. The review focuses on factual accuracy, vocabulary, and ensuring that the piece does not make claims beyond what the cited material supports.

04
Publication and Correction

Articles are published with a date and author attribution. Corrections or clarifications identified after publication are noted publicly, either inline or appended to the article. Significant corrections include the date of the revision.

04 Source Standards

What the Journal Cites and Why

Dronavel Journal prioritises the following source categories, in rough order of evidential weight: published research in peer-reviewed nutritional journals, established dietary guidance from recognised independent bodies, and field observations drawn from the primary editor's documented practice.

Where a claim in an article rests on a single study, that limitation is acknowledged in the text. Where multiple sources are in agreement, that convergence is noted. The Journal does not cite commercial sources as primary evidence for nutritional claims.

Peer-reviewed nutritional research

Published studies in established nutritional science journals, cited with authors and year where referenced.

Independent dietary guidance bodies

Established non-commercial organisations that produce dietary guidelines based on independent evidence review processes.

Documented field observation

First-person observations from the primary editor's nutrition practice, clearly framed as such and not presented as universally generalisable findings.

Commercial nutrition sources

Supplement brands, proprietary products, and commercially sponsored research are not cited as primary evidence for nutritional claims in editorial content.

05 Accuracy Policy

Corrections and Clarifications

Dronavel Journal takes accuracy seriously and has a defined process for handling errors after publication. When a factual error is identified — whether by a reader, a contributor, or an internal review — the following steps apply.

Minor corrections (typographical errors, formatting issues, broken references) are corrected without a public notation. Factual corrections — where a claim in the article has changed — are noted inline with a correction label and the date on which the change was made. Significant factual revisions that change the substance of an argument are appended as a dated correction note at the end of the article.

Readers who believe they have identified an error in a published article are encouraged to contact the editorial team at [email protected]. All submissions are reviewed by the primary editor.

What the Journal Does Not Do

Offer individualised nutrition plans or personal dietary guidance.

Make claims about specific weight outcomes or timelines for change.

Reference or promote any specific supplement, product, or proprietary programme.

Present editorial opinion as established scientific consensus without attribution.

Accept sponsored content, advertorial, or paid placement in editorial articles.
